The strategy will invest in non-convertible debentures issued by certain -quality issuers engaged in various sectors like education, healthcare, finance among others. These debentures shall be secured, rated and listed on the stock exchange by the issuer. The pay-off for these debentures will comprise those payoffs that reasonably reflect the portfolio managerâ??s market expectations or that offer attractive risk-reward characteristics at any given point in time. There is a potential for intermediate exit, but the same can happen at the available quote from the market which may be less than the fair value of the debenture. In any case for intermediate exits, the payoff calculation will not be applicable. The issuers may offer put/ call option(s) along with the debentures issued.
